How Tech365 collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website and trade account services.

Last updated: 7 July 2026

Tech365 ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at https://tech365.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit the Site or use our trade account features.

We do not sell your personal information. We keep our use of tracking technologies limited to what we need to run the Site securely and understand how it performs.

Who we are

Tech365 is a European technology lifecycle platform for repair businesses. If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at support@tech365.com.

Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Site:

  • Contact enquiries — if you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to provide (for example, your name, business details and message content).
  • Trade account registration — if you register for a trade account, we collect business and contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, address, VAT information and details about your repair operations.
  • Trade account sign-in — if you sign in to a trade account, we process your email address and password to authenticate you. We do not store your password in plain text.
  • Usage and performance data — when you browse the Site, we collect limited technical information about how pages load and how the Site is used (see Cookies and similar technologies below).

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and improve the Site and our services.
  • Process trade account registrations and manage trade accounts.
  • Respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
  • Monitor Site performance, reliability and security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — used to keep trade account sessions secure when you are signed in, and to support core Site functionality. These cannot be switched off if you want to use signed-in features.
  • Analytics — we use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregated Site usage (such as page views and referrers). This helps us improve the Site. Vercel states that Analytics does not use cookies for tracking across other websites and does not collect information that directly identifies you.
  • Performance monitoring — we use Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance (such as load times and Core Web Vitals). This helps us keep the Site fast and reliable.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, social media pixels or third-party marketing trackers on this Site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect trade account sign-in and other signed-in features.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only where needed to run the Site and our services:

  • Hosting and infrastructure — the Site is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical and analytics data on our behalf.
  • Trade account systems — trade registration information is passed to our internal trade account platform to create and manage accounts.
  • Professional advisers — where required, for example, lawyers or accountants bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.

We require service providers that handle personal information on our behalf to protect it appropriately and use it only for the purposes we specify.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office or European Commission, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

Trade account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain a business record. Analytics and performance data is typically retained in aggregated form according to our providers' retention periods.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and request data portability.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@tech365.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
